But She Loved To Read And Write, And She Wrote Her First Book When She Was Nine Years Old. When World War I Broke Out, She Was Called Upon To Teach First Grade; She Continued To Teach For Thirty-Two Years.

Kay Life Received Her Degree In Elementary Education At Southern Methodist University In Dallas And Her B.F.A. In Illustration At The Massachusetts College Of Art In Boston. Kay Lives In Massachusetts And Is The Mother Of Four And Grandmother Of Six.
